Watercolor No Bones About It

Happy Friday everyone!

I've been busy preparing for my upcoming series: Watercolor with Aquapainters and I created this little gem yesterday. I had to laugh when it was done!! What do you think?
Too Grim?

I'm preparing a video all about backgrounds. ( You will get 10 videos on different ways to use Aquapainters as well as supplies to make a card for each of the techniques!) This is one of the practice backgrounds I did and I thought it kind of looked like a fiery sunset.. Then I looked at the dinosaur set... And none of the fun sentiments really worked...

So I went with Goodbye and Good luck.
I thought it was hilarious! ;-0

Anyway, make sure you have signed up! It's going to be SO MUCH FUN!!! Here are all the details for those of you who may have missed my original post:

Have you always loved the look of those "fancy" water color cards but not sure where to start? Or maybe you want to learn how to use an Aquapainter in more than just the basic way. Do you have stamps that are just "to hard to use because you have to color them in?" Let me show you how to get the most from your products in an all new  Class Series!

Watercolor with Aquapainters is a week long video lesson series. You will learn 10 different ways to use your Aquapainter to create different watercolor effects. You will also get two bonus videos from professional watercolor artist and teacher Janis McCarty and two time Artisan Award Winner Jane Lee! There will also be a private Facebook page where you can interact with other class members, ask questions and show off your creations!

Class Fee includes two packs of Stampin' Up watercolor paper (you will need a lot!), two  brand new Aquapainters, two Wink of Stella brushes (clear and gold) , a spritzer and a Sale A Bration item of your choice! I will also provide card bases, envelopes and embelishments for 10 different cards each using one of the techniques.

Each day, I will email you the video lessons for that day. You can do them as we go, each day, or save them for a future time. Class videos will be available to you forever! You will need to provide your own stamps and ink. I will provide a supply list after you register in case you want to order any supplies ahead of time. Stamps and colors can be substituted and don't have to match mine exactly.
In order to get materials to everyone, I will have a strict RSVP deadline.

Class Fee: $69
RSVP Deadline: February 21
Class Dates: February 29- March 4

Just want the 12 video classes? You can sign up for the Online Only option for $35.
This option will not include any materials.

Special Note:
If you are a member of my Sweet Stampede Team, you get this class series for FREE!!! Email me for details.

Stampin' Up Baker's Box (Video Tutorial)

Have you checked out the Weekly Deals this week? The Stampin' Up Baker's Box Thinlit Collection is on sale for $24.75 (US). I LOVE the Baker's Box! It's easy and it holds a good amount of goodies. It even holds a cupcake!

I made a new one this week to show you exactly what it looks like along with some of the Thinlits that come in the collection.

My favorite color combo right now is Navy/Cucumber. It's very springy and I keep seeing it everywhere in the stores! I used my favorite Shine on DSP too. I have made several things with the Baker's Box Thinlit since it came out last summer. Here are a few things I've made.

Halloween Baker's Boxes

Teacher Gift (Pencil) Baker's Box

Stamp Club Project in August- this one features the stamp set that coordinates with the box called Homemade For You.

Fall themed Baker's Box

So, you can see just how versatile this little Thinlit Collection is! It includes
NINE thinlits to be use din your Big Shot.

Ok, so back to today's Baker's Box. It's springy and features the Watercolor Wings butterfly!

Check out my video to see how easy it is to make.

Make sure to order the Baker's Box before the end of the day Monday, February 15, 2016 in order to get the sale price!!

Sweet Stampede February Swaps- #imbringingbirthdaysback

We had our monthly Team Gathering on Monday night and I just have to share the swaps I got this month! They were so good! As I told you yesterday, we focused on the #imbringingbirthdaysback movement for our swap theme.

I love every single one of them! I have labeled them with the original creators name.

Cindy isn't local, but she mailed hers to me so she could swap at our meeting! I love that you did this Cindy!! I hope  you will continue! :-)

And this is mine. I did a watercolor smooch background... Still perfecting it, but will do a video in the future.

And Alicia made everyone a very sweet Valentine Treat!

In case you are curious, we made a boxed set of cards this month that used just two stamp sets: Timeless Textures and Perfect Pairings (Sale A Bration).

Even my long distance members can get the make and takes if they choose. We even had three virtual participants via Skype this month! It was so fun!!

If you are interested in purchasing the Starter Kit and becoming part of the Sweet Stampede, make sure you check out my Join page! :-) Email me if you have any questions or would like to talk more about it.

Today is the LAST day to order the

Party Wishes

Have you heard about the giant movement called #imbringingbirthdaysback ?
For those of you who don't speak "hashtag," that means "I'm Brinking Birthdays Back!" And it's a wonderful thing Shannon West (Demonstrator Trainer at Stampin' Up home office) started on her personal Facebook Page. She really didn't intend to start a "movement." She just wanted to send birthday cards to all her friends and family. She felt like Social Media had really taken the fun out of birthdays and no one was sending cards anymore! So she asked for birthdays and she got over 1000 responses!!! You can see her on a Utah morning show here telling all about it.

So needless to say, Stampin' Up has joined her and is helping fund the postage and create cards for everyone on her list. Isn't that exciting! So, many Stampin' Up Demos have decided to join the movement! I designed a class around the Party Wishes stamp set to help you create birthday cards so you can join the movement too!!

This month's Stamp Club card is also from this class.

Here are all the details on my upcoming #imbringingbirthdaysback class.
