Tennis Team Goodies featuring Custom Tee and Bear Hugs

Hello everyone! Today, I want to share a fun little treat I made for my daughter's tennis team. She is in 8th grade and this is her second year on the team. She LOVES tennis. Yes, this is the same daughter who has been doing 4H the last few months. Our spring semester is a busy one to say the least!

They had a big match yesterday and I stumbled on these tennis gumballs and snatched them up to make "something" for the team. Now, if you don't have a tennis player, you could do the same thing for any sport! I saw soccer gumboils and I've seen other sport ball shapes in the past as well.

I wanted to use their school colors, so I went with Basic Black and silver embossing powder. Now, for the ball, I really struggled. Stampin' Up doesn't really have a "tennis ball" color. And these gumboils are really a neon lime color. So, there was no way to match the balls, so I went with Crushed Curry. I felt like it was the closest I could get. Once they were done, it didn't really seem like such a big deal.

My daughter and her doubles partner wear matching white tennis skirts. So I was staring at all my framelits trying to decide what I could use as a skirt. And then, I realized we DO have a skirt Framelit as well as a stamp!! I was so excited! LOL! The Bear Hugs set has a cute little skirt that worked perfectly.

For the boys on the team, I left the skirts off... Ha! The tennis ball was made simply with a Layering Circle Framelit. I used two layering circles to create a white "frame." Then I cut them in half and glued them to the ball for the white stripes.

I got ZERO feedback from my 14 year old after she gave them all out- ugh, teenagers!! But, who cares, I think they are cute and I am sure the kids loved them even if they are too cool to let mom know! ;-)

I was inspired to get my projects for Friday's Facebook Live event ready. They all feature the Custom Tee Bundle AND, get ready for this- they're ALL MASCULINE! I know, me doing three masculine projects!! Crazy right! Ha! I know, I pushed myself to stay in that unknown territory... and I LOVE what I champ with! Make sure you've joined my Facebook Group Page so you can see all three projects!

Moon Baby and Watercolor Pencils

Good morning everyone! Today, I want to show you this precious baby card I made for al my Stamp Club To Go members this month. It features the Moon Baby stamp set. This has to be one of the CUTEST baby sets we've ever had!

I colored it with our new Watercolor Pencils. They made it so easy to color! I used an Aqua Painter to blend the pencil and the added more layers of color. I finished off the moon with a wink of stella brush. The DSP is from the Brights DSP Stack.

Don't forget that the Birdcage Builder Class (part of my Stamp Camp) registration is Friday! These are some of my mot favorite cards I've ever made! I think you will love them too!

Stamp Club Scrapbook Page- Avant Garden

Hello everyone! Today, I am sharing this month's Stamp Club to Go Scrapbook Page. As I've told you before, the get three projects. One is a Scrapbook Page or an alternative card for those who aren't scrapbookers.

This month, I didn't want to make the page full on Valentine's Day because that's kind of a hard page to use. I don't know about you, but I don't really take "Valentine pictures." But, I focused on "love" and a soft "pinky" feel. I also chose to use the Avant Garden stamp set.

You can see how the alternative card is almost identical to the page. The inside ( see below) is also fancied up!

The front features the Avant Garden (Sale A Bration) stamp set . It also has an oval cut with the Layering Shapes frailties and the word love cut with Sunshine Wishes Framelits. I also used the Falling Petals Embossing Folder.

The inside features a sentiment from Layering Love, the heart from Sunshine Saying Framelits and the DSP from Falling In Love DSP pack.

And, the page features the exact same things! I really try to make both projects as similar as I can and I think this month, I achieved that. The colors are Blushing Bride, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake.

Don't forget that today is THE VERY LAST DAY to get a class kit for the Watercolor Pencil Class. We start next week!

Bookcase Builder

Hello and Happy Friday!

I recently made a cute little gift for a class I sent in the mail. It was so cute I had to document it! I don't always have enough time to do this, but I really try to put something fun in each of my class to go kits.
This time, I was inspired to go a little over the top...

I dressed up some bolts of ribbon with  a cute bag topper which was stamped with the Bookcase Builder Stamp Set. This set has SO many cute little stamps  (27!) in it that could all be used for a variety of occasions.
It comes with a shelf stamp so that you can create little collages.

I went with Melon Mambo, Marina Mist, Early Espresso and Cucumber Crush for a fresh, springy color pallet.

I pulled out DSP from my DSP Stacks in Melon Mambo, Marina Mist and Cucumber Crush. I cut 6" X 4" pieces and folded them in half and then stapled them to the 4" X 6" Cellophane bags.

I love the little banner under the shelf, don't you?!

And here they are all spread out with the class kits. I love the feeling of trading somebody to something fun and surprising! I hope they liked them!

Don't forget!!
I will be doing another Facebook Live Demo TODAY at 2:00 CST. I've three quick and easy last minute Valentine Treats
each featuring non Valentine stamp sets! Make sure you have joined my Facebook Group!
