Blendabilities and Kraft Video

Hello and happy Friday!
I'm sharing a super cute project today that I created with Blendabilities.

Blendabilities behave much differently on Kraft paper. I like the way they act! They really saturate the paper quickly. Blending is a lot different, so you will need to practice. In fact, I made you a video! :-)

I love these Petite Cafe Gift Bags in the Holiday Catalog (p. 10.) I've used my entire package of them already!

The stamp set I used is my favorite stamp set in the Holiday Catalog; Santa Stache. And, if you get this set, yo have to have the Mustache Framelit to go with it of course!! :-)

Don't forget about the EXCLUSIVE OFFER I announced yesterday!!! Follow the link below to find out more!

Fancy Friday! Yee Haw!

Welcome to....
Fancy Friday!! Wahoo! Fancy Friday is a bog hop that last year's Artisan Design Team has decided to do. We are all such fans of each other and were really sad to not be working on anything together, so we decided to come up with a fun monthly blog hop! Hooray!

This month, we all used the following picture for inspiration:

I LOVE every single one of these colors. But I struggle when I have to incorporate lots of colors into one project. I had just received my Yee Haw stamp set and really wanted to use it.... So, I decided to do a sunset background using my good old Brayer and the Blackberry Bliss, Tangelo Twist and Real Red.  (Shhh.. But I used just a TINY bit of yellow at the bottom too! SHH! :-)

Have you ever tried using a Brayer to create a background? It's fun but messy! Google it and lots of videos will come up. I got to see a demo while at convention but had to watch  it again before I created this card.

And do you see my shout out to my friend Jane? That cardboard is from a SU box sitting here in my office. She is the fist person I ever saw use it in a project and I knew I would love her even before I met her!! LOL! Isn't that crazy! But, it's awesome and so appropriate for this kind of card I think!
The lasso is stamped on Vellum. If you see a tiny bit of blue sticking out of the hat that's because I did it in Indigo first and didn't like it. But, I couldn't pull it up with out wrecking the whole stack. So, once again,Shhh! Pretend you don't see it!!

Now, we are giving away a stamp set this month! You probably have already ready that on the other girl's blogs, but here it is again:
Be sure to leave a comment on any of our blogs with a link back to your creation, and ONE lucky participant will win! Here are the rules for the challenge: 1. Leave a comment on one of our blogs with a link to your creation, comments/links MUST be left by Friday, September 19th 7:00 PM MST in order to be eligible for the prize. 2. Please use the color palette provided. You can use any combination or all of the colors provided as well as any neutrals. Although SU colors are listed, you can use any colors you have on hand as long as they are similar. 3. You MUST put a link in your post back to the challenge. *Winner will be announced during the September Fancy Friday Blog Hop! (the last Friday of September).

OK, that's it for this week from me! Your off to Jane Lee's blog next! Have fun hopping along!

Oh, and before you leave, don't forget about the EXCLUSIVE OFFER I announced this morning!!! Follow the link below to find out more!

Tee-Hee-Hee (HSS)

Good morning! As I was running this morning, I thought to myself "I can feel a tiny, TINY, bit of fall in the air..." Now, it will still be 101 degrees this afternoon, but there is something in the air today..... Maybe it's all in my mind, but that's ok! I am playing with all my new fall stamps and loving them. So, if I have to pretend it's cooler outside, that's just fine!

Today, it's another sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments!

And, I took it as an excuse to pull out this hilarious new stamp set called Tee-Hee-Hee!! I mean, how cute is this???

Sometimes, peoples say "I have no need for Halloween stamps." I disagree! This card for instance can be used for a variety of occasions. Right of the bat, I think it would be perfect to send to a girlfriend. Either for a "hey, I love ya" card or maybe a "hey, it's all gonna get better friend!" kind of card. It could be a thank you card... just because it doesn't say "thank you" on the front doesn't mean you can't send it as a thank you! And, if you have a teacher, neighbor, coworker who you love, this would be a cute card to go along with a fun pumpkin treat! So, don't dismiss Halloween stamps as just for a Halloween occasion!! So many uses in the fall!!

Stamps: Tee Hee Hee
Paper: Motley Monsters
Where can you get these? In the new Holiday Catalog out on Thursday!!
Make sure you hop over to HSS and see what the other designers have created!
Don’t forget you only have THREE more days to take advantage of the awesome Stampin’ Up Starter Kit deal! Why not give it a try? You will really want to take advantage of the discount on all of your holiday paper crafting! And, you also will have a way to make some extra holiday cash if you want to! Groovy Love Heart

Good morning! I am going to keep today's post short and sweet because I am taking my babies to their new school this morning! Let's just say my anxiety is a little high! They are excited and I know it will be fine, but it's such a new and different way to start the school year! Momma won't be just down the hall anymore.... But, I will admit I can't wait to have a quiet house to work in for the day! Woot!

Another strawberry card using the Groovy Love hearts. I embossed them in clear powder on Cherry Cobbler. The flower is form Everything Eleanor. I thought it looked very similar to a strawberry flower. I also used some new DSP that will be available THIS WEEK (the 28th) in the new Holiday Catalog.  And the sentiment is from the exclusive Hostess set that Hostess witll get for FREE starting on Thursday as well!

Now is an AMAZING time to schedule private class! If you live in the San Antonio area, please contact me so we can schedule yours now!

And don't forget, only three more dye to take advantage of the Short and Sweet Promotion!
